All new international students must take IU's English Proficiency Examination upon arrival at athe university, even if they have also taken the TOEFL. Students will be placed the appropriate level of English, if necessary, as determined by the score on the test. Some students may need to enroll in full-time English language courses before beginning regular academic work.

是不是意味着直到英语过关了才能开始正常上课?
